Description
For sale are 10 out of a series of 24 paperback "volumes" dated 1953 called the "Encyclopedia of Cooking," put out by the Culinary Arts Institute and published by Consolidated Book Publishers, Chicago. Each of these booklets is 48 pages, and features color front and back covers, with black and white photos inside. (These B&W photos were probably state of the art in their day... but now? You decide!)
These are great relics from a time gone by ... when people ate things like "oyster loaf" and Mom did all the cooking. And nobody was watching their cholesterol either! But, these booklets include plenty of recipes that still would be enjoyed today. They're a fun addition to a cookbook library.
Covers intact, no tears. In good condition.
