Dreadbox Kinematic is a VCA based Compressor and an Envelope Filter effect pedal suitable for fretted instruments and synthesizers,
with eurorack compatibility.
This makes the Kinematic an excellent pedal for both Overdrive and Auto Wah.
The Kinematic combines a compressor, overdrive, and envelope filter into a single pedal.
By using the 2-way toggle switch you can choose between Compressor Color or Envelope Filter modes.
In Comp Color mode toggles Kinematic's compressor acts as a frequency boost while the Envelope knob controls the ratio.
If you combine the Comp Color with the Drive control, you create tones from very subtle overdriven to extreme fuzz.
The Env Filter mode turns this pedal into an exceptional AutoWah.
Auto Wah is achieved by using the Filter knob to control the lowpass filter, and by using the Envelope knob to control the sensitivity ofthe Auto Wah.
The Kinematic also has three CV patch points which allows the pedal to be used with Eurorack Synthesizers
