This is an ORIGINAL/FIRST print poster (approx. 12 1/4" x 20", and printed prior to the shows) that was used to promote a series of shows at the historic Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. These shows took place March 8-10, 1968, and featured the Love, Congress of Wonders & Sons of Champlin. The very popular psychedelic sixties image that adorns this poster, "LOVELADY", was designed by Stanley Mouse, and is the 109th image in the Family Dog series. This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, and remains in EXCELLENT/FLAWLESS condition. This is guaranteed to be ORIGINAL Family Dog poster, and we will gladly issue a COA upon request.
