    Description

    WHITE POLYSTYRENE or "STYRENE" PLASTIC SHEETS.
    .030" Thick (roughly 1/32")  x 36" x 48".  Some sheets measure 36" x 50".
    This translucent material will allow light to pass through.  It is a great material for lamp shades, negative viewers,  and commercial signs.
    Polystyrene is a thermoforming plastic that can easily be vacuformed or shaped by heating and bending.  It is thin enough that it can be cut with scissors or a utility knife.  This material is approximately the same thickness and rigidity of a credit card to give you an idea of the material you are working with.
    If you are unfamiliar with Polystyrene, I suggest purchasing a sample size piece of this material so you can determine if this material is suitable for your application. I have no way to measure the amount of light that passes through this material and it is nearly impossible to take a picture that clearly shows how much light will pass. The number of lights and wattage of the lights are very important factors. Please see my eBay store for other sizes of this same material.
